RYAN GREGG
HOMETOWN
Scottsdale, AZ
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
B.S. in Forensic Chemistry, University of Mississippi, 2010
Research Interests
Research for my Honors Thesis entitled "Development of a Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectrometer for Lead-Free Gunshot Residue Analysis." I used components in the lab to build a Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectrometer, an optical emission instrument used to detect emission wavelengths from atomic analytes. I used the LIBS apparatus to study emission spectra of lead-based and lead-free gunshot residue for applications in forensic science.
