Research Interests

We worked on the Raman spectroscopy as well as the surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) of pure pyrimidine and pyrimidine/water clusters. We were mainly interested in the hydrogen bonding networks between the pyrimidine and water but also of the bonds formed between pyrimidine and the silver of the silver island films (SIF) when studying the SERS spectrum. Most also studied the single molecule SERS of pyrimidine in water.
