Research Interests

My main project as a member of the Hammer Group was to restore to working order a Cold War era Raman spectrometer and to modernize the operation of this instrument using a LabVIEW program I authored. This experimental setup was then used to study hydrogen bonding in solid pyrimidine and binary mixtures of pyrimidine through changes in pyrimidine's vibrational spectrum.
