I joined the Hammer Research Group in 2008. While there, I helped design and construct a time-of-flight mass spectrometer for gas phase spectroscopy. The mass spectrometer was then coupled to a tunable dye laser for resonance enhanced multiphoton ionization (REMPI) studies of methyl iodide.
